We are able to offer a range of services from risk assessment to training your staff in fire awareness which will enable you to comply with the latest fire safety legislation.
Why not let ABF act as your Competent Person? We can undertake a risk assessment of your premises, devise an emergency plan and train your staff while providing all necessary documentation to satisfy the regulations.
Alternatively, you wish to conduct the risk assessment yourself in which case we are able to provide you with advice and guidance and provide staff training in fire awareness. We are also able to train staff to undertake the role of Fire Warden.
We can provide training at one of our venues which include Alnwick and Haydon Bridge Fire Stations or, alternatively, our trainers can deliver on site at your premises.
In summary, the services we provide are as follows:
Risk Assessment
- Full fire risk assessment by fire safety professionals;
- Information, advice and guidance on any necessary improvements to your current level of fire safety provision;
- Provision of emergency plans for your premises;
- Complete documentation to satisfy the legislation;
Training
- Competent Person Course. This is a one day course designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge to undertake the role of Competent Person in your workplace.
- Fire Warden Course. This is a half day course to develop staff to undertake the role of Fire Warden in the workplace.
- Fire Extinguisher. This is a half day course covering the selection and use of fire extinguishers appropriate for your place of work.
- Staff Fire Awareness. This is a half day course designed to provide staff with an understanding of basic fire prevention and what to do in the event of fire
